I just downloaded Internet Explorer 8 onto my computer. Even with high speed DSL,it took a long time. After it was installed,I got a notice to download a high priority update,and that that took more time. I\’m glad that\’s all done! Whew!! Now,I\’m switching to my Firefox browser and do some web surfing. Firefox reaction time is much faster than Internet Explorer and I believe it is a more secure browser. It was a lazy Sunday for me. Sweat rolls down my face as I track down leads in the mysterious case of the dog who robs cats in the middle of the night of their cat food and sells it on the black market. I have followed the suspect to his hideout where the smell of cat food lingers in the warm humid night. I have summoned the swat team and TV crews are getting set up to broadcast live the capture of this four legged criminal. When the weather is nice, I like to be out doors either walking, cycling or simply hanging out at a nice spot. In India, with pollution in cities rising with the traffic, it is also a way to help reduce traffic. When not with friends or relaxing, I walk faster so it counts as exercise…a bonus for me since I don\’t use the gym and believe more in a good lifestyle to keep fit. U should definitely walk in pleasant weather…if you have good company and a safe neighborhood, try going for a long walk at night. Have a gr8 weekend!

It also allows one to shout out opinions and make them count!It\’s certainly the crisp and cool air of the night along with the calm that makes it a great time for walks. If you stay near a beach or a lake, walking near it early in the morning or in the evenings would be another option. Summer\’s got good weather in your place? In mine, it\’s a time to stay in till eve 🙂
Hi Mec x.Yeah probably you’re right about the driving thing. But I’ll be really happy the day I get my driving license because I absolutely dislike driving, somehow… Euhm, no I still haven’t got my own car yet. I don’t need one at the moment. I think I’ll need one the day I stop studying and get a job. So far, I’m doing fine without a car 🙂 Do you already have your driving license? Or your own car? Oh, no. I haven’t bought a lot in France. We basically relaxed at the pool and the beach most of the times :p The only times we saw stores, they were really expensive. I’m talking Louis Vuitton, Dior, and that kind of stuff. Haha! Too expensive for me :p We did went to a market one day, where I bought some cards from the place we stayed at (as souvenirs) and a ring. Loved it 🙂 How have you been doing? I will be going back to work on Saturday. Booo!! This week, I\’m catching up on some of the DVD\’s I haven\’t had a chance to watch. And I will check out the movie listings in the paper to see if I find anything of interest. I\’ve downloaded Fox News Live plugin and I have been watching what is going on live on the Space Station.. A Space Shuttle has docked and there is 13 people there right now. Seven came up in the Shuttle and six were already at the Station. There are two toilets on the Station and one of them just broke down. The Shuttle has its own toilet so things aren\’t too bad. I get to watch space walks(called EVA\’s) live and they can be very interesting. The space walks last about five hours each so I only watch part of it. Also,if no conversation is necessary between ground and Space Station,there is complete silence. This could go on for 10 to 20 minutes. Then, you can hear everyone talking again. You could also go to the NASA web site and get all kinds of cool stuff. Enjoy your vacation. Take care.////////// Doug //////////

I really don\’t have anything to say right now. Don\’t you just hate it when someone talks on and on about nothing and you get so bored you begin to daydream? Then the person who is talking asks you a question and all you can say is "What"? because you weren\’t listening and the other person gives you a mean look and walks away? Yeah,well,that has happened to me and I usually wind up having to take the lovely lady out to dinner so she won\’t stay mad at me. Then I have to take her to a movie and buy her all kinds of junk food at the concession stand. And do you think she offers to share any of it with me? No! In fact,she has most it wolfed down by the time we get seated. Then she wants me to run out and get more food just as the movie starts. This means I miss the opening credits to the movie. I hate that! I always enjoy the opening credits! They are so cool! I think my date knows this and is just torturing me in a slow painfull way. I am allergic to cedar pollen given off by cedar trees in my area between mid December and mid February. When that happens, I feel like I have a bad cold with congestion,sore throat,runny eyes,runny nose,and a rotten headache. And a sever reaction can give me a viral infection. Most of the time all I need is go to the doctor,get an injection,get medication,and maybe antibiotics. Right now, I feel great. I had an allergy test done several years ago where they poke the back with stuff that a person could be allergic to. I found out that I am also allergic to mold and grass. Because of that,I haven\’t done yard work in a very long time. I also change the air filter in the central AC/Heating system at home on a regular basis. Well,there you have it. A short lesson on how to stay healthy and keep the allergies to a minimum. I saw a guy in a store one time who was suffering from bad allergies and he referred to it as "the winter crap". I guess he didn\’t bother to go see a doctor. I have been told that allergies are inherited and are not contagious. I guess that is true because several people in my family suffer from some form of allergies. Hope your week has gone well! Take care!!<<<<<< Doug >>>>>>

When cedar pollen hits hard down here, it gets all over the cars too. The car wash places love it. Everybody rushes down and gets their car cleaned. I have to take of myself. I\’ve only got one body! Ha-ha! LOL!^^^^^^^ Doug ^^^^^^^

I take Alegra 180MG,Loratadine 10MG(Claritin),and Nasonex nasal spray when I have allergy attacks. And I use a saline nasal spray(OTC) to moisturize the nasal passages. And,if I have a headache,I take Extra Strength Tylenol. That usually takes care of my problems. Today has been another manic Monday! Ouch! The March winds rolled in today in force! That means April showers,followed by May flowers,followed by June bugs,and finally extreme heat in July and August. Yabba-dabba-do! Have a great day and a fabulous March!!——- Doug ——-

I am just now answering comments from my Windows Live blog during March. I have spent a lot of time on Facebook lately. I usually don\’t eat sweets such as cookies. The TV shows I have been hooked on lately is "24"(Monday night on Fox) and "Human Target"(Wednesday night on Fox). And, tonight on ABC-TV, is the return of "FlashForward". It will be a two hour special event that I can\’t miss. I got hooked on it last year and it has been on hiatus for months but now it is back. Check it out! And one more thing. If you miss a network show when it is broadcast, you can watch it several days later on a web site called Hulu. Broadband connection is required. hi there:)I\’m so glad I have one more week to go until I have two weeks off:D ahaha, but I bet teachers will give us so much homework or we will need to study durying those two weeks off –" But right now, I just don\’t want to think about that.. Weekend has just begun so there will be no homework for me until later on:DDAnyway. Two weeks ago I went to the University of Ghent where I can only do something with oriental languages and cultures:) And I\’ve made my final decision about what I want to do next year, aha:D The Uni gave me answers that I needed so now I know fer sure what I want to do next year. I so can\’t wait now=D My dad definitely supports my decision and I must say.. I was kinda scared about how he might have reacted about the two things I was doubting about.. But he said that it was my own decision and that I needed to focus on the fact that I needed to choose wise because he doesn\’t want me to drop out two months later:) But this is what I want to do, learning a new language & culture:) Plus it\’s useful for me nowadays..&btw. Thank you for saying about what I really needed to focus on.. Helped me a lot^.^However. I hope I can have my own little website soon because I have nothing else to do when I\’m on the computer:O And I want to write things off, you know? Ohh well, I guess I\’ll look harder during the Summer when I actually have the time for it. Ahaha, I\’m with you on that! I definitely don\’t have the skills to use programs to make layouts for websites, etc. and help would be handy, but I don\’t want to bother other people cause they have their own things too:) Good instructions about really useful programs would be handy now:DDSo.. I went and saw the movie "Date Night" starring Tina Fey (30 Rock) and Steve Carell (The Office). It is about a married couple with kids that decide they need their own night out. It starts out like an enjoyable evening then all hell breaks loose. It quickly becomes Murphy\’s Law and anything that can go wrong does go wrong. These two movie stars are at the top of their form and the movie is very funny. I give it four stars **** and I highly recommend it. That\’s all from my side of the fence. I came over here from Facebook to say hello. Are you still using this blog site? I don’t see any recent blog entries. We are in the middle of a 2-week rodeo here. Lots of CW stars in town. However, I’m not into the rodeo scene right now. I had my fill as I was growing up. I tend to go see movies and visit video and book stores. It’s a tough job but somebody has to do it. LOL!
